The NY Post reports that pop musician Prince Malik wants a “princely sum” (gotta love those Post puns) for his 7,000 square foot home in Oakland Gardens – 212-06 64th Avenue (GMAP) – a neighborhood in eastern Queens sandwiched between Cunningham Park and Alley Pond Park. He’d like to sell the house for $2.75 million or rent it for $12K a month.

It has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms on four levels. It also has, among other things, a circular driveway and a two car garage – but is that really enough for his car collection? Maybe that’s why he’s selling. Here’s the view from above:

You can see part of the circular driveway from this angle, too.

This home is priced at almost half of what was paid for that house in Neponsit this summer ($5.1 million), which is now a wreck and uninhabitable from Hurricane Sandy. Oakland Gardens at least doesn’t have that kind of flood risk, it being inland so far (it’s not even in a hurricane evacuation zone). But waterfront property will always be pricer. Good luck with the sale, Prince Malik.
