We learned from the Queens Council on the Arts about One Queens from The Queens Fellowship:

The request for proposal (RFP) can be found here; it was issued on February 14, so not so long ago. The deadline is April 11.

Here’s a little background on The Queens Fellowship info from the RFP:

The Queens Fellowship is a 9-month professional development and networking program for non-profit, faith, government and community leaders serving Queens. The Queens Fellowship is dedicated to advancing Queens’ diverse leaders and empowering them to become change agents to strengthen the borough. It teaches and challenges participants to work together.

Through their shared experiences and participation in The Queens Fellowship, Fellows come to understand that through building, broadening, and strengthening ethnic, cultural, and religious ties in Queens there is far more that unites us than divides us. Ultimately, Fellows discover how they can help communities share resources, manage dynamic tensions, and collaborate on solving problems. The One Queens Grant is coordinated by the Grant Making committee of The Queens Fellowship.
