Black and white cookies are pretty much synonymous with NYC. The cookie even had a starring role on Seinfeld. So often we find black and white cookies to be a bit stale – these cookies are more like a thin cake, so they do dry out faster than a lot of other cookies. So where do you find a good black and white cookie? And do you prefer the classic fondant icing or a buttercream icing? We’d love to know where the good black and whites are. I don’t know much about black and white cookies. Every time I’ve ever had one, it kind of just sucked.
But may I suggest another question of the day type thing in the same vein? :
Where do people go to buy rainbow cookies?
I really want to know. Right now I know I can get them at Russo’s Bakery (2 locations – Maspeth and Glendale).
But I’ve been wanting to know where else I can go for some really good rainbow cookies in Queens.
