Question of the day - cupcakes, yea or nay?

We’ve recently written about cupcakes in short succession – first, the opening of Brooklyn Cupcake in LIC and then Sweets First in Astoria, and before that, we sung our praises of Buttercup Bake Shop, a hidden gem in LIC. In the past few years we’ve heard that cupcakes are “over” and tragically “not hip.” Truth be told, we still love ’em. But how about you? Are you totally over the cupcake “trend” or are you still a lover?
