World's Fair Train Show at Queens Botanical Garden This Weekend

All aboard! A G-scale model train system will pull into Flushing on Friday and spend the entire Memorial Day Weekend in the Queens Botanical Garden. Organized by the Long Island Garden Railway Society, this annual event will feature a fleet of miniature locomotives, snaking around tracks in a large, adorned lot. And for those who prefer taking a more active role in the fun, a midsize motorized train will offer rides through selected parts of the green space.

Details: World’s Fair Train Show, Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main Street, Flushing, May 23 through May 25, 10 am to 5 pm, free with admission, but additional fees for some activities. Event parking rate is $10; discount parking vouchers are not applicable on event days.
