Recently in our perusal of the world wide web internets, we discovered this thing called the Queens Memory Project. There are tons of cool images on the site, and Queens historians are continuing to document important events in the borough for inclusion. Yes, even today you could be making Queens history.
You can get involved with the project by contacting Queens Memory Project director, Natalie Milbrodt at Natalie.Milbrodt@qc.cuny.edu. She is looking for people to interview about old Queens and wants all those hoarded artifacts your grandma certainly has.
So, if listening to Madonna’s song “I’ll Remember” one too many times is ruining your social life, consider this project as a better outlet for your nostalgia.
