Last one in is a rotten egg! The Courtyard New York LaGuardia Airport by Marriott has just revamped its backyard patio, and now the East Elmhurst hotel is going to celebrate with a pool party. There’s just one rule: all are invited.
The 288-guest-room inn, located south of the Grand Central Parkway at 90-10 Ditmars Boulevard, recently removed its gazebo and installed new furniture and umbrellas to make its pool area suitable for large parties and networking events. So….the first big event will be an open pool party on Thursday, August 21st, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Attendees will enjoy free parking, cocktails, finger food, raffle prizes, and towels. The pool (above) runs four-feet to six-feet deep and is large enough to swim laps. It is available to hotel guests, but Queens residents can purchase memberships as well.
