You probably shouldn't rent this place in Astoria for the bathroom, but....
We are suckers for vintage bathrooms, and this bathroom is pretty much perfect. Note the built in hamper and black tile. Pam of Retro Renovation would have a field day with this place. It’s located in an Astoria one bedroom with an asking price of $1350 per month.
The bedroom looks huge and we love the reliefs on the walls and the dark wood inlay on the floor.
The building has laundry and an elevator and it’s located near the Broadway N/R subway stop, a short ride from Manhattan.
The down side is that it’s listed as a two room studio, so this may mean that there is no living room. That could be a problem. There is a broker’s fee of 10 percent of annual rent, and and application fee of $50. Applicants should have credit above 700 and meet income requirements of approximately 40 times the rent, but if you are moving in with your partner, hopefully that won’t be a problem.
