New Gastropub Opens in Astoria

Astoria’s got another new pub and food joint to add to its list: Snowdonia. Located at 34-55 32nd Street, this gastropub will serve a good selection of canned and draft beer, along with plenty of classic pub dishes. While they officially opened to the public on June 27, there is a bit of a catch: For the moment, they are serving only food, not beer, as the location awaits its liquor license approval later this month. They’re calling it their soft opening. So while you’re waiting for the beer to start flowing, check out Snowdonia for fish and chips, mussels, shrimp cocktail and more. GMAP
