This made me laugh! I had to have a second look through the pictures - Most of the opulence of the apartment is communicated through paint, drapes, and carpets as well as a lot of over-the-top original detail (that curved door!). but it is not fancy in the way of more modern homes we see on this website (scandi built-ins, recessed lighting, earthy Farrow & ball colours, etc). Best I can tell, the bathrooms and kitchen were last remodeled in the late 80s or 90s and probably looked good for that time. Based on the taste in furnishings, I'm thinking the seller is somewhat elderly and last remodeled decades ago but has managed to keep the apartment in good shape.
