Here’s a very reasonably priced one-bedroom floorthrough in Bed Stuy/Ocean Hill. The living room and bedroom both seem nicely sized, and there’s a separate dining room plus a small office or half bedroom. That side galley kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s about what you’d expect for the price.

The bathroom isn’t pictured, but the listing says it’s “extra cozy,” which we’re sure means incredibly tiny. It’s about a block from J/Z at Chauncey and about seven or eight blocks to the L at either Bushwick-Aberdeen or Wilson Avenue. What do you think of it for $1,350 a month?
