Streetlevel: Tribeca Pediatrics Opening in the Slope
The old Century 21 on 5th Avenue near the corner of 8th Street will become a Tribeca Pediatrics office. According to the sign in the window and the company’s website, the office will be a collaboration with RealBirth, “a renowned educational resource for parents.” GMAP

“I just saw that gallery yesterday. Looked very cool indeed.”
Should Art be cool?
we love them too — we go to the boerum hill location and have had a fantastic experience thus far.
“btw, I don’t like this group, not a trustworthy group of docs on the whole – nice philosophy…”
Promenade – Is it the Real Birth People or Tribeca Pediatrics you dont like? What is it about their philosophy you think is impracticle? When our child was born, the doctors were very attentive, spent alot of time talking to us and giving advice, keep up to date on shots, visits, etc. Never a long wait and they even do Saturday sick visits. All good stuff in my book.
Actually, promenade, it doesn’t blow the theory at all. Your comment is useful to me as well. Just like it is useful to know that there is a pizza place nearby with mixed reviews.
I don’t rent an apartment in a spot because of a restaurant or doctor’s office, but it is still of interest to me to know about them.
rob — I’m shocked this is a topic where you understanding fails you.

btw, I don’t like this group, not a trustworthy group of docs on the whole – nice philosophy, but doesn’t work in the practical wld. – not just my experience/opinion, but other families experiences as well. there is one basically across the street from where I live, but I travel much further for my kids care – so that blows the “Well, as someone apartment hunting in the area, I find it useful to know where a nearby good pediatrician might be.” theory
That’s cool.
And maybe someone else is interested in where to get a good hot dog.
There’s room for it all. Like I said…not a whole lot to comment on about a doctors office which hasn’t opened yet and won’t for a couple months.
You would choose an apartment by a doctors office which probably hasn’t even hired the doctors yet…?
I can point you in the direction of about 25 other pediatricians in Park Slope, if you need some help. 😉
why do kids need their own doctors anyway? i never really understood that.

“Not a whole lot to say about a kids doctors office opening 2 months from now. ”
Well, as someone apartment hunting in the area, I find it useful to know where a nearby good pediatrician might be. Comments like newsouthsloper’s are of interest to me.
Sorry, didn’t mean to poop on it. Not a whole lot to say about a kids doctors office opening 2 months from now. Glad it’s good, but it’s not exactly a high comment thread.
I’m letting people know about other things opening in this immediate area.
You don’t want to know about them…skip my posts.
