fifth-avenue-christmas-one.jpgGowanus Lounge has some photos of the Christmas decorations already adorning 5th Avenue in the Slope (they were spotted at the Fulton Mall last week). Last we checked, it was early November, right? Any other neighborhoods awash in tinsel yet?

  1. I love love Christmas Decorations. I drag hubby to see them all. We’ll start at Time Warner (which I think is the best)and walk down to Rock Center, looking at all the windows (Bergdoff always outdoes themselves). I’ll drag him to the stores off the stip to; Barney’s, Lord and Taylor, Macys, Bloomies. We go to Soho, and of course Dyker Heights in Brooklyn. Where ever there’s a twinkling light, or a smiling santa, I’m there.

Last year, was the every first time I waited on that line at Macy’s Workshop to see Santa (yes, Hubby, me and an adult friend). It was a sweat shop of Santas, I felt cheated.

I say it’s never too early for x-mas Decorations. My favorite is seeing a plastic Santa Claus on someones roof in August.
