Unfortunately, the original setup of center hall stair and parlor suite on the ground floor makes division into a multifamily awkward. This two-family solved that problem by inserting a third and separate staircase for the top-floor rental — which could be a plus or a minus, depending on your point of view.
The place is certainly big enough (3,500 square feet, according to the listing) that the loss of a room on the second floor doesn’t seem like a big deal.
What do you think of it and the ask of $1,850,000?
