Height Matters: Protest from Above

Blogger Urbanfoto shot these orange balloons high above the streets of Williamsburg and Greenpoint yesterday. Reportedly, they were put up to draw attention to the height of the proposed waterfront developments. The reason? “With the final hearing date just around the corner (April 4th), activists are trying to drum up as large an army as possible to help protect the hood from Space Elevators and weird ribbon cutting ceremonies.”
