Free Historic Trolley to Give Tour of East New York African Burial Ground and Art Installations

Take an historic trolley tour through East New York this Sunday.

The event is being held by ARTS East New York, which has sponsored public art installations throughout the neighborhood. The Explore East New York trolley will bring straphangers to several of the installations, as well as stopping at the African Burial Ground.

The tour will begin at the New Lots Artist and Market Incubator, a formerly vacant lot now housing converted shipping containers transformed into affordable storefronts, visual art studios, and art exhibition spaces.

The tour is free and open to the public, but space is limited and an online RSVP is required.
