5 Front Street Dumbo

Think you’re up for capturing Dumbo in a mural? Artbridge is looking for an artist with a vision that will do justice to the canvas of an 181-year-old wall.

The historic, landmarked wall, located at the side of 5 Front Street, is currently blank — but not for long.

Proposals for the open call are due on November 11, and should capture the “quirky, contemporary climate of Dumbo” while simultaneously referencing the neighborhood’s history. Submissions should include a narrative explaining the design’s concept, as well as images of former public works and a list of required materials.

Artists must either live or work in New York, and there should not be any text in designs.

For full details on submitting, see Artbridge’s website.
