kengsington gal, what are you talking about? You live in kensington, so you assume readers of this blog are your neighborhs? I think most readers of this blog live in the neighborhoods normally covered by this blog, ie park slope, fort greene, cobble hill, etc. It’s called brownstoner.com. Those are brooklyn’s popular brownstone neighborhoods. And bren, affordable is relative. A brooklyn brownstone for a few million is certainly affordable compared to manhattan. A brooklyn coop for several hundred thousand is hopelessly out of reach for many people.
Kensington sounds cheap but the hood has nothing around this block-
no shopping,restaurants, but the park is close by. hood still needs to be gentrified badly.
Alot of space for little $$$
Glad to see some attention on the places most of us live!
It is nice to see a few properties that
are more affordable for a change.

something someone w/out a ton of cash could purchase. a social worker or teacher at the beginning of a career. that’s good i guess.
kensington–good for a couple starting out. resonable.
