Rainy Ribbon Cutting for Trader Joe's
After month’s of build-up, Trader Joe’s finally opened this morning at the corner of Atlantic and Court Street in Cobble Hill. Racked is on the scene, where Marty turned out for the ribbon cutting, remarking at the wet by-standers, “You people are nuts!” Anyone been by yet? Live at the Trader Joe’s Brooklyn Opening [Racked]…

Opening Day at Joltin’ Joe’s [Lost City]
got quite wet in line, but worth it
picked up nice stuff for debate/obama show dinner party tonight beautiful space, nice staff
great there are here
To this day people wait in line to get in the Manhattan TJ’s near Union Square so we are NOT surprised here @ all. Its called herd effect folks:). Now having said that we waited for close to 2 hours for the iPhone… guess to each his own.
Get over it already. You stand in line for shit other people don’t like, and they stand in line for shit you don’t like. I bet they listen to music you hate too.
I get annoyed waiting in line at the REGISTERS… why would I wait in line to get in?!
Seriously, it’s a grocery store. Albeit a nice one, but still just a grocery store.
The only place I’ve ever seen people waiting in line to buy food was the fish market on Friday mornings. All the little old Catholic ladies (mostly dress in black) lined up so that they’d get the best catch.
Maybe I would wait on line for a new iPhone that can mix G&T’s but for a TJ’s, no way…
I was there for a bit this morning. Here’s an account for anyone who’s interested:

Going to pop in at about 2pm for some weekend supplies.
