The most viral story of the day yesterday was without question the one about the empty Bushwick lot being turned into a hipster trailer park. “There’s no affordable private space for artists to create art together, so now it’s come to campers in warehouses,” cofounder Hayden Cummings told Rented Spaces. There are currently six intrepid campers calling the trailer park home, but that number is expected to rise to more than 25 come springtime. There’s a video of the indoor portion of the space here. Each to his own.

  1. motherbubba – when did you get here…2006???

No dancing without a cabaret license? I remember that being an issue back when I still went to bars and staid late enough for people to even start to sway….

No bike riding in hasidic neighborhoods??? The bike lane is like 12mo old, and in the real old NY no one but kids and delivery people rode a bike – cause what the hell would you do with it? There wasnt a lock strong enough

No beer drinking on the stoop? Who says you cant – just dont dont leave it in a bottle and you’ll be fine….and guess what, that was always the case….

No more Vox Pop cause they are pinkos – never heard of Pinkos selling stock (except chinese pinkos) and I think that this newcomber coffee shop is gone is because they dont beleive in paying taxes or wages (which actually sounds very capitalistic to me)

Please leave the trolling to Rob – you are an amateur

  2. I love it ….lets bring back the old NY or a hint of it at least. This city has so many restrictions now, no beer drinking on your stoop, no bike riding in hasidic neighs, no dancing without a cabaret license, no more Vox Pop because they are “pinkos” WTF

  3. im not going to hate on this. i think it’s awesome. i always thought fringe areas of nyc needed more trailer parks. id live in one. believe it not a trailer (even a single) can be very spacious.

  4. Kens, I made it through the night! I was really sick for the better part of the first hour after arriving home, but my tummy eventually calmed down. No more ricotta cheese for me!
