Mural/Ad Appears on Warren
A reader sent in this pic of an old-timey style mural that’s been painted on the side of a building on Warren Street near the corner of Court. It appears that Hendrick’s has put them up in New York, San Fransisco and Boston.

Ok, you might be right, but I prefer a couple of these once in a while over the blatant soft core porn of some woman in a bikini slithering across the floor with her butt in the air like a cat in heat
oh , i completely agree with you on that one. i find most outside ads extremely tacky. the ones in soho are the WORST.

Oh well, to each his/her own.
“I’m sure that appeals to the hetero cave men who are the targeted audience”
Yep.
“Ok, you might be right, but I prefer a couple of these once in a while over the blatant soft core porn of some woman in a bikini slithering across the floor with her butt in the air like a cat in heat, holding a bottle of whatever”
bottle of what? i wanna buy some now.
“wtf are you talking about? that is EXACTLY what is being depicted in that mural, just in a more pretentiously omg the past the past the past way.”

I don’t find the Victorian type ads pretentious, I’m just agreeing with you that it’s still advertising drink this and have sex, the more I look at it. I still like it.
This is far better than seeing more douchebags in another Bushmill’s “mural”. I mean, seriously…who the hell would drink Bushmill after seeing those terrible ads?
these murals are all over north brooklyn and downtown manhattan.
