After an exciting and satisfying first six weeks during which every visit brought a new vista or discovery, we seem to have settled into the less gratifying phase of running pipes and wires and patching walls. The most interesting thing to show you this is the shot of the rear bedroom on the top floor, where we’ve removed a closet to reclaim some square footage for the center kids bathroom. We’ve managed to save most of the molding and it will go back on when the rest of the work is done…
I wouldn’t worry about, I’m sure it look beautiful in the end. You won’t be able to tell the sheetrock from the plaster when it’s done. Not sure what the plan is for the baseboards…
