Salvage: 4 Solid Oak Doors For Sale in the Forum

Here’s a photo of one of the doors for sale or trade in today’s Forum. We’ve got another great salvage piece coming your way tomorrow as well. We’d love it if we could get a decent flow of architectural salvage going on Brownstoner. In fact, if we get a few more submissions over the next week or so, we’ll consider creating a new section devoted just to salvage. Wouldn’t that be fun?
4 Original Doors [Brownstoner Forum]
I have a 7 foot gothic arch solid oak church door for sale. The door is 4 inches thick and is a genuine rectory door. The door is with complete hinges and wrought iron drop latch with Celtic cross. Value in the region of £1500
Would this be of interest. Would suit a barn conversion – new build.
Salvage section is a great idea. We have 14
restored oak and mahogany doors for sale, rescued
from West 80s brownstones over last 30 years.

JUST saw some solid doors on the street waiting for trash pickup! Five of them, painted white but that’s easy to get rid of…a couple are the really cute ladder back narrow ones. None are tall or glamorous. All are free!

Such a great idea to have a salvage feature. I have quite a few things I’d be able to list for sale. I am actually looking for an exterior, round-topped door. Anyone?
I’m not sure what the doors are made of! They are solid wood and original to the house.
LOVE the salvage feature!
Sounds like a party
