After the popularity of our kitchen thread last month, we thought we’d get the ball rolling on a bathroom renovation series this month. It’s also good timing since most of the renovation blogs aren’t far enough along to have finished bathrooms to show the world. (The Gates Reno has completed one bathroom and, last we heard, the Bed Stuy Reno just had the tile down.) So, in the meantime, please email us your photos and renovation commentary to brownstoner@brownstoner.com. The more play-by-play details and product sourcing information the better!
I do like the tile very much, but I am really curious to see it with all the fixtures installed. It looks like the toilet will cover one side of the larger decoration. Also is this a hlaf bath? No tub or shower?
LOVE this tile!
Even though our bathroom reno plans are pretty concrete at this point, very excited to see what comes of this.
Any chance you could do a brownstone living room series? Im really interested to know how modern day families have set up their space that was arranged for a victorian lifestyle.
any ballbark estimate on what the bed stuy bathroom reno costs? I have my own reno to and need to re-route plumbing for two bathrooms. Trying to get a rough estimate before I collect quotes from contractors.
yes I have the feeling this is going to be a very nice one…
That is going to be one nice looking, retro bathroom.
Kudos to the owner on this.
