It’s official: The Park Slope pink brownstone is no more. The house sold in October for $2,075,000; the removal of the pink paint began last month. Above, a picture of the current facade sent in by a tipster. (Curbed ran a photo today, too.) As far as we can tell, it looks like the new owners probably painted with brown paint rather than stripping off the pink paint to reveal the original stone. Sad to see the pink painted over?

what’s the address? i’d like to see how it came out.
i mean, sure, you can strip or clean off any painted surface but did it discolor the brownstone? did they get all the way down to the first floor and find patch work? those are common problems.
