One of the few carriage houses in Park Slope is slated to be renovated and converted for single family occupancy. Located at 90 Park Place just up from 6th Avenue, the project is currently under construction, although the hard winter has forced a stoppage. Since it is located in a Landmarked area, the building will receive a full restoration to include masonry, lintels, window sills, the parapet and of course the entire interior. (You can see the details in the DOB application.) Not surprisingly, it will remain a one-family residence. GMAP — Pedro Pachano

  1. Gee Dave, I’m disappointed little ol’ boring me didn’t make your list!

By the way, I could add some other regular posters to your short list. And, truth be told I’m not sure I agree with all the people you included on your list. But since you’ll never see my comment…

  2. > How do you get a short link to the google street view?

I copy the long link from Google Maps, then paste it at TinyURL.com to get the short link.

I tried to use the bk.ly link shrinker, but that site often does not work with URLs containing odd characters.

  3. Dsnark,

I, too, have admired that PH carraige house, but am disappointed that the large door has been closed up.

How do you get a short link to the google street view? I can get only a long link.

Here’s a long link to a Carroll Gardens place that may have been a carraige house:
