The crown jewels inside Brooklyn’s most visible landmark have finally been listed. Stribling has started advertising two penthouse units—which are being called the Clocktower Residences—at One Hanson Place. The priciest of the pricey is a 4-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath going for $4,775,000; the other pad, a 2,848-square-foot 3-bedroom, is fetching a cool $4,095,000. Stribling notes that both are just below One Hanson’s gilded dome and feature panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn as well as fancy appliances and finishes. The speed at which these luxurious spreads sell will certainly say something about how the highest of high-end condos are faring in Brooklyn right now. (As for possible buyers: Brooklyn still welcomes you, Oprah.) Bathroom shot and a floorplan for the $4.775 mil unit on the jump, and there’s an open house tonight if you can’t get enough One Hanson gawking. Update: A reader alerted us to the fact that these aren’t the actual penthouse units, though they are in the tower portion of the building. There are three units like this one on the 29th through 31st floors. The actual penthouses are in floors 33 to 36.

I meant if yours (as in your coats) are already hanging in there. I didn’t mean if YOU ARE hanging in there. Well maybe you will hang in there cause there’s no room in your bedrooms.

I think most readers of Brownstoner have enough sense to know that this floorplan is of the upper floors before the setback and not of the clock floor.
Lacking in closet space.
There’s only ONE closet as you walk into the apartment….were do you put your guests coats, if you’re are already hanging in there, and if I’m rich, I have more than one coat.
They would have faired better to create a two bedroom out of this space.
these are not the penthouses and they are pricing them at 4.7m? good luck with that.
Also, the bathroom shot is not from this apartment; it’s from the sales office (from a layout that wastes an enormous amount of space with a huge bathroom). This apartment has no bathrooms with both shower and tub.
CORRECTION — these are *not* the penthouses. These are on the 26th-32nd floor. The penthouses are on the 33rd-36th floor, immediately under the clock. There’s a building setback and arched terrace in between.
for 4.7 million you could certainly buy the real thing.
