Forgotten NY, which has its own photographic tour online, laments the poor treatment the 1643 cemetery has suffered at the hands of its neighbors. The area, between Bensonhurst and Coney Island, has many of the oldest houses in the City, including the Lady Moody house pictured on the jump.

Corcoran had the “Lady Moody” house on offer about two years ago. Can’t remember what they were asking. Around $800 something, I think… That siding, though. Ugghhhhh…. Am I wrong, or is that the asbestos variety?
Oldest houses in the city is correct. I have an old picture ( which is framed and I cant scan) of my house with nothing behind it but the NYC skyline. Everything was farm land. That was 1901..
