Low-e and/or laminate recommended?
For clarity, I recommend using low-iron glass which goes by many other names such as PPG Starfire, or “water white” which can be made into an insulated glass panel, argon filled or not (which should have no impact on color). Low-iron glass is super clear with no greenish cast. Laminated glass is great for safety and diminishing sound transmission but the interlayer may impact the clarity. I recommend a low iron glass insulated glass unit. Ed Kopel Architects

Wondering if people recommend low-e argon and/or laminate for windows to go under a deck? I want to maximize the light so am thinking not to use low-e, but am told it may be required by law. Is that right? Thanks.
