bi-folding door - exterior

just wondering.. did you go ahead nanawall? i am thinking about installing bi-folding doors as well. just not sure what my budget is. does anyone know what the ballpark figure would be? my backyard entry way is 9 ft by 10 ft.

can anyone recommend a good supplier and/or contractor who has experience installing exterior bi-folding doors. not the flimsy wooden/louvered ones you see for interior closet or washer/dryer doors. the kind that is made of heavy wood or aluminum and glass…oftentimes to that lead out to a backyard or patio. not seeing a lot of these mentioned here. referrals would be greatly appreciated.

www.nanawall.com – although very expensive, they are the only residentially rated units i have seen that stand the test of time. Some aluminum window companies and storefront guys can make similar units at half the price but they simply will not perform the same….particularly for our local climate. BTW: I am assuming this is the style of door you mean, otherwise slider and french door companies are a dime a dozen…

I have used Nanawall too. Pretty expensive, all companies seem to make something similar.
