Where are the commercial dumps?

Looking to dump some junk with my own pick-up truck near Kensington if possible. I’ve heard of a place in Sunset Park at 50th and 1st Ave but can’t verify it’s existence. The archive describes a place near the Kosciuszko Bridge but is a bit far for multiple loads. Can’t find info on NYC.gov, DSNY, DEP or online Yellow Pages. Where can I pay to dump my own stuff? Saturday morning is a plus!

Ended up using IESI- a dump in a warehouse at 110 50th St between 1st and 2nd Ave in Brooklyn. $100 for 1 ton (2000 lbs). Just needed a license. Paid by credit card/ amex. Open a lot but closed all day Sunday (from 11:59pm Saturday to 11:59pm Sunday). We went once at 1am on Monday morning after some miscommunication with them and a rental van full of junk! They weigh the truck, you drive in and empty it- it’s slimy and smelly inside, then you exit and they weigh the truck again.

I second the reco for Atlas. We bring our Explorer filled to the roof with rubble and it usually costs $80-$100\. They’re open til 1:30 on Saturdays, too.

Has anybody ever heard of a person like this getting caught without a carting license?  Many small contractors have to carry small loads from job sites.  Hopefully we have legal/safe places to put it after that. Just moving it requires a license.

I think the city closed their facility so it is the private ones.  there are two of them under the kosciuszko bridge.  one of them is litterally under the greenpoint side of the bridge.    there is another nearby there.  I am not sure about sunset park.
