Penny round expert installer? Looking for referrals

Hi brownstoners, Looking for recos for a tile contractor that is an expert in installing penny round tile. Nothing worse than seeing the seams on this sort of tile. Thank you.

Thanks for the plug. I don’t believe we’ve met. Give me a call sometime. As for the expense, I do charge more initially than some others, but I spend more on my clients too. Our real estate is expensive, our city is expensive. A well-designed and long-lasting tile job is always a bargain compared to the alternative.

greenmountain i like your work!! i don’t think most people realize that good tile people are hard to find. I have gotten recs from the tile stores but they were swamped and never returned calls. contractors don’t like giving up their coveted sources, so its nice to know there is someone on BS that is worthy and responsive! (i bet you’re pricey….heh)

Oh, it can be worse. Here is a picture of my installation of 1/2 x 1″ rectangles. Straight lines are still harder to keep straight than pennies. But, I am offering an example of that too.
