Paint consultant??

After 6 years in this house we still have not decided on a color for our front door, so it’s still white, needs to be painted and I’m looking for someone to help choose a great color, which is not my forte. I do know I would like to use one of those great European oil paints and have the swatches but that’s as far as I got.
I also want to paint some interior walls that are white and could use some color. Know of anyone? Thanks!!

yes – that’s what I’m looking at but haven’t been able to settle on the color…! Good to know you can DIY it. I thought we had to find someone who knew how to use the paints. What else have you used the paint for?

Also FPE has what they call a “dutch door kit” that we’ve used for everything BUT a door, so once you’ve settled on color you can pick one up for your actual door — the paint was easy to work with DIY and I highly recommend. We ordered online:

The people at the Gramercy Farrow and Ball were much friendlier to us and helpful than the Brooklyn F & B people. Every time we’ve dealt with Brooklyn, they were totally divas.

Incolour is a great paint store at 100 Lafayette St (NYC). Martin Kesselman runs the place is a color consultant for Fine paints of Europe. They also sell FB and Ben Moore.

I believe the Farrow & Ball paint store on Atlantic Ave offers design consultations. However I’ve no idea what the cost is.
