fort greene rental broker?

Is there a good “local” rental broker for the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill area, i.e. someone with roots in the neighborhood who may have access to listings I wouldn’t find otherwise?  I’m looking for a March/April lease and I’m not opposed to paying a broker fee if it helps me find a really good place. I’m bumping this because I have the same question.   Fort Greene, Clinton Hill.  I have always lived in Manhattan and now that I want to move, I find the Bkln real estate search to go by a different set of rules. Maybe it’s just seems that way to me, but so far there seems to be an overall shadiness or impenetrability so I have wavering confidence. Thanks. Good luck lross3v  !

i don’t know who the above poster is but I would suggest two brokers: Jerry Minsky (who has lived in the neighborhood for years and has lots of rental deals) and BLS Realty (Bouchra) who works with the older landlords. I also rent 6 buildings on Clinton Avenue which are geared for studios, 1 beds, shares. Best
