Radiators on 3rd Floor

Anyone have advise for moving 2 rather large (bigger of two is 31″ long by 38″ tall) radiators down 2 flights of stairs, plus a stoop?  I may be willing to give them away for free in exchange for pick and transport.  I’m debating having a plumber cap the pipe on one of them and replacing another with a much smaller one, as rooms do not need the heat, but concerned I’ll be stuck with them as won’t be able to get them out.

if they have one pipe they are steam so the should be dry within…rent a sledge hammer and break them up into managable pieces, then you have to cap the steam line.if it is hot water heating two pipes connected it could get messy with super black heated water from last season with you having to drain down the 3rd floor.search around on google for radiator stores they carry all shapes and sizes.if your going to use any or both for the upcoming season might want to install new shut offs if the old ones aren’t shutting tight…just a thought?
