Cast iron hot water radiator needed

For our home in Red Hook, I need to replace some cast iron baseboard in the bathroom with a radiator.
Dimensions required: 21″ wide max (if 9″ deep). Taller the better for more radiation.
I’m wedging it between a pre-existing sink and toilet. Ornate preferred. Any help transporting it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I just took out two old victorian ornate cast iron radiators from my home in brooklyn. They are however bigger than what you are looking for, but thought I would let you know just in case. They measure 38 1/2 x 23.

Mousta: I know… and you have a good point/suggestion… but they are fairly hit and miss; depending on them as a single resource has been quite dissapointing for us.They have a lot of fireplace inserts and fencing in that in-between space, but I haven’t seen many radiators on my weekly visits. They get what they get. If they recently demolished a house with radiators, that is what they offer. Roy tends to be more ample with anything (heavy) iron or metal, beacause he has dozens of pickers that are on their way to the metal salvage place (selling by the pound). And, he will loyally call you if you make a request for something special. His prices can be pretty descent, too. B.I.G. NYC has a bigger selection of architechtual salvage, overall. Nonetheless… they have a new manager who has jacked up the prices to absurd levels. They also now seem to have frequent staff turnover there and they have failed to call us if we’ve put something on their request list. We find it in the sold section all too late (really frustrating). If you do go to BIG… make sure you get there on a Friday or very early Saturday. And monitor their Astoria facility online, too. Roy closes quite early on Sat (3PM?) and is closed on Sun.

Go to Roy, the nice iron guy on 9th street, just inside the entrance to Lowes. He has about a zillion… of every shape and size (radiator covers, too). Build It Green doesn’t usually have them, but they are right across 9th Street. Please make certain it will fit your system/pipe size; best to bring the connection pipe with you. They can vary in size and you don’t want to end up with a paperweight. We learned this the hard way! If you can wait… we are renovating and will install a radiant heat floor. We’ll be getting rid of ours, but very late in the fall. I doubt any of them will deliver… it’s strictly cash/carry. A zip car and elbow grease might be your best/cheapest bet.
