Indoor Air Quality- anyone know how to test?

After much work and renovation we are starting our second fall in the house.  As the heat turns on (steam radiators) and the windows close we are again all sick.  Colds, cough, and for myself- the queen of allergic…eye irritations, rashy, itchy etc.  I am however not affected when I am out for the day.  The thought came into my head as we were away for the holiday weekend and i felt great, now back again and coughing, that the house might be “sick” Any ideas on testing.  I  would have thought there would be businesses to do so in BK, but my search came up pretty empty.  I see many self tests on the internet, but those seem mainly for mold alone.  We have hardwired co2 and smoke alarms.  I’d love any suggestions.  PS did Brownstoner change its login policy? i had to create a new account.   Thanks Sherry

try a humidifier,,,sounds like dry air
