Do you oppose a sports bar on 6th Ave and 7th St (formerly Kohzee Cafe)?
The owner of the building at 396 6th Avenue (corner of 7th St) is applying for a full liquor license at his sports bar Lucky Lou’s Bar and Grill. His request to CB6 for the license was rejected but he will approach the board at its next meeting to be held on Sept. 26 at 6:30 pm at Fifth Avenue Committee Conference Room, 621 Degraw Street (between 3rd Ave and 4th Ave).
The revised plan still calls for a bar with a full liquor license. It will have TVs and serve bar food, and operate daily from 4 pm to 12 am, including weeknights.
Please attend the meeting to oppose the issuance of the liquor license. Having a bar in the middle of a family neighborhood, on a residential street, will disrupt the peace and quiet of 6th Avenue and is far too close to PS 39, Beansprouts, Camp Friendship, the library, and two churches.
