Any Development will come to Utica Ave. Stop?

I am thinking of purchasing a frame house 0.5m north from Utica Ave. Stop. I am from out of state and saw how barren the area by the stop is.

Any of you know if there is going to be improvement and new shopping coming to Utica Ave? If so, when? The interior of the subway station is gorgeous but the walk to it, not so much.

LOL…yes, if you exit at Utica Ave (and Malcolm X corner) it looks like hell but when you exit at Fulton Park it’s a completely different world, just half a block away.  Don’t know of any planned development there.
