licensed plumber for water meter

Hi I have a 2 family in crown heights and i need to install a water meter. currently there isn’t one and i need a plumber to file and do everything that needed to be done. first anyone did it before? how much it cost? thanks

i think they reimburse you for the meter price only. not the work.

I think it’s around $1,500 but the water utility will reimburse you for the meter install, so it’s basically free.
