Exterminating German Roaches in an empty building

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to treat a German roach problem in a vacant building? We will be moving in with our family soon after treatment, so I would also be interested to know how to properly clean after treatment or how long to wait before moving in. We plan to clean thoroughly and fix all leaks as part of the solution. Thank you!

As somebody who have experienced this very badly I can suggest to make sure to fill all holes. Inspect your house in detail and mark the holes. Chemical treatment is good but if you have remaining places for roaches to come inside, they will be back.

I find roach foggers to work very well.
