Recommendation for Painter/Contractor- Russell Weyl 917-612-4006

I just wanted to take a few minutes to recommend Unique finishes, the company we just used to paint our new apartment. We previously used them 9 years ago, and then used them again recently when we moved. The paint job they did 9 years ago is still looking great, by the way.  Unique finishes is run by Russell Weyl.  The paint job was top notch, the work clean and finsihed quickly, and Russell was a pleasure to work with.  Prices were also very reasonable. Russell was professional, prompt, and helpful in narrowing down colors and making choices about molding and trim, etc.   He even offered to do some childproofing for us, reconfigued a closet and cleaned out jacuzzi jets. In addition to painting, they also specialize in wall paper hanging, and specialized wall finishes.  Russell has recently partnered with his friend who runs DC contracting.  They are a full service construction company.  They recently renovated my sister’s apartment– redoing the wood floors, painting, fixing kitchen cabinets, etc.  Work was excellent and the apartment looks great.
