Hi, Same issue. I had a company do a test and they gave me a report with intact /non intact areas for a 2 unit apt. I will end up having to fix a cabinet, 4 shutters, repaint a whole den/room and repair tiny holes in the other rooms. I do  not need or want to repaint the entire apt as I would loose rent or and money and it not deemed necessary. In these hard times even little job is never a bad job.  Any reference welcome.

Any contractor who has obtained his Epa lead safe certification. (ask to see a copy of the cetificate). Springs, give the guy a break, I don’t think that there are many certified contractors (including myself) who would remove lead paint from one cabinet, both from a dollar and liability standpoint, unless it was for an existing customer.
