For anyone looking for a mortgage or to refinance, I highly recommend Harold Sokol (212-318-9472) of Manhattan Mortgage. I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly the process was…less than a month from start to finish on the refinancing of my coop. I never considered using a mortgage broker in the past but I’m dealing with health issues and wasn’t in a position to deal with all of the annoying details…phone calls, paper work, etc. Anyway, I was referred to Harold by my employer and am so glad I contacted him. He managed to get me a better deal with lower closing costs than my current bank was offering through their streamlined process.  I never knew closing could be so hassle free.
