Renewing Marble Stair Treads?
We have white marble interior stair treads in our building. They surely looked great fifty years ago, but now, not so much! We want to keep them, but would like to give them a nice ‘face lift’. Does anyone have a tried and true method for renewing the treads? We understand we’ll never get them close to new in appearance, we just hope we can make a major difference. Thanks.

Hi, I do all kinds of stone restoration. If your stairs are marble, then they proboably need to be ground and polished. You could try to clean them with special soap, with varying results. If your steps are granite, they most likely just need to be cleaned with a stone specific cleaner. Feel free to contact me. Cheers Dave dcrossman357@gmail.com 9176870787
