Refinishing Marble Floor Tiles in Brownstone Entryway

Hi, The marble floor tiles in our entryway — in between the front exterior doors and front interior doors — appear to be original to our brownstone. They’re pretty badly dinged and scuffed up. Does anyone have experience having these restored, or suggestions for a contractor who specializes in this kind of work? Thanks in advance! – Alex

You probably won’t be able to get them looking really pristine. Clean them w/ a poultice of baking soda & peroxide. Don’t use anything w/ ammonia. Then get a good wax (check for ammonia), apply it & buff.
