Any Recommendations for a Real Estate Lawyer?

Hi All.  Looking for a Real Estate lawyer to help us on the closing end of a purchase of a brownstone in Bed-Stuy.  Currently not happy AT ALL with the one we have handling the closing of the home we sold (simply does not appear to want to work on our behalf).  Any suggestions from those with good experiences, perhaps one who is familiar with this area, would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

getting a real estate lawer, who is a good one will solve the issue half then itself. Try to consult some one having good experience in dealing with the cases, experience matters for the jod. you mgiht consider http://www.casselsbrock.com/ as they are good at what they do.

I loved my lawyer, Lina Singer, for my first-time home purchase in Brooklyn.  She just does real estate, and is very straightforward and organized.   Everything went very smoothly–she got me a good contract, and she worked well with the attorneys on the other side to make sure it was a good closing.  I will say that I’m a lawyer myself, as is the friend who referred me to Singer (and my friend used her as both a buyer and seller), and so there are a lot of things she let me read to myself rather than explaining (but explained all that I wanted to know).  The other side of our deal was very sloppy and disorganized, and without Lina reminding them of various terms before closing, it would have been a mess. Hi, Nalusurf. Dubno was good for me. I don’t know what he charges when you are buying a place. I believe I paid him $1700 for representing me when I sold my place. You should just ring him. He answers emails within 24 hours. I felt he had my back. Go with who you are comfortable with. i am comfortable with Dubno.

I had issues with Dubno as well. I did not feel that he really explained parts to me and therefore we wound up with a less than ideal contract. I would not recommend him if you want really detailed help and guidance.

I recommend Robert Dubno in Park Slope. I had my 3rd real estate transaction this summer and used Bob. It was the first time I felt like the attorney I had hired was working exclusively in my interest. He listened to me, gave me pros and cons and supported me throughout the process. I will use him again. He is the only one from that area I will recommend. Good luck!
