Landmarks Question
If I have a “Certificate of No Effect” or “Permit for Minor Work” from Landmarks for some stoop work (that does not require a DOB permit), is there a requirement to submit a Notice of Compliance request with LPC once the work is completed? It seems like it may be a contradiction in terms, but I wanted to be sure since I’ve been burned with expediters hitting me with (initially undisclosed) fees to close out a permit. Thanks as always….

LPC does not require it, but it’s pretty easy to get. All you need to do is write them a letter, stating the work was performed according to the approved plans and specs, attach a few photos, and request the letter of completion.
