Tiny Toilet

We’re renovating a very small bathroom and are hoping to find a 10″ rough-in toilet that’s only ~24″ (or less!) deep. We’ve found such toilets online but they’ve all been discontinued… anyone else out there who’s found a tiny toilet with a small rough-in?

The Duravit Happy D is 24 3/4 but reqires a 7 7/8 inch rough which your plumber may or may not be able to do by busting up the floor http://www.supply.com/duravit-happy-d-toilet-bowl-only-2134090092-white-alpin/p427146

I went through this a while back but also had a width restriction in addition to the length. A wall hung is the only option I found to meet those requirements. It involves significant construction by someone who knows what they are doing to install the carrier in the wall. It also increases the wall thickness. It’s a significant expense. The best second choice I found (and what I went with) is the Toto Ultimate round front which is 26 1/2″ long, 12″ rough. You might have to use an offset flange.

Rough-in (10″ -12″) refers to the distance from the centerline of the 4″ waste in the floor to the wall behind the toilet. That distance does not apply to tank in the wall toilets as the waste pipe outlet is inside the wall. 12″ rough-in is standard now. Look for a round front and you might find something that is close to 24″ +.

you can easily do this with a wall mount toilet, but then you would have to open up the wall to install the concealed tank and I am not sure they are made with a 10″ vs 12″ rough
