Park Slope Kitchen Gallery - Feedback

Have any of you used Park Slope Kitchen Gallery near Prospect Avenue and 5th Avenue in Park Slope?  I’d be interested in feedback, good and/or bad.  They do custom and semi-custom kitchen design/installation and I got a good feeling from them.  But would love more input/feedback if possible.

Thea is the one who impressed me so it’s good to know that there’s some feedback that she is competent (or at least more competent).  I got a good vibe from her, and she works with a contractor I’m seriously considering, so that would mean there’s a team in place, if so.

We used PSKG back in ’09  based on a rave reviews here on B’stoner of a particuar designer.  Unfortunately, that designer was no longer employed there by the time we were ready to put in our order.  Her replacement left much to be desired. The latter KD is now also no longer employed there and was replaced by Thea — someone  who I have reason to believe is considerably more competent than her predecessor.  The details of our story are not worth a whole Forum post, but I I’m willing to share about our experience with PSKG offline: brooklynista at yahoo dot com. Otherwise, the short advice is this: PSKG sells more than one cabinet line.  Research the cabinet lines and determine your preference. Then interview the designer who will work with you on that order just as you would any other trade or design professional who will come to work in your home on a reno project.  Over the years,  PSKG has had both fantastic and terrible designers in their employ. Withought knowing the product line of your preference and who is currently handling it, I’m not able to offer an informed public opinion as to their competence.  Good luck!
